Yes. M Social Hotel Sunnyvale welcomes dogs subject to the hotel's pet policy. A $100 pet fee applies, with a maximum of 1 dog / 50 lbs. per guestroom. Please contact the hotel before arrival for complete details. 

• We welcome well-mannered, house-trained, disease-free dogs. Other pets, including but not limited to cats, birds and reptiles, may not stay or visit the resort. 
• Limited to (1) dog up to 50 pounds.
• A non-refundable fee of $100 will be applied to your account upon arrival to cover the costs of deep cleaning the room following your visit. 
• Pets must be always leashed and under their owner’s control in outdoor public areas on property.
• For health and safety purposes, pets may not sit at or on top of tables while visiting the outdoor areas of hotel restaurants.
• Pet owners are responsible for promptly picking up after their pets and bringing the appropriate materials to do so.
• Should any pet display dangerous, aggressive or unacceptable behavior (including but not limited to biting, excessive barking and/or evidence of disease), M Social Hotel Sunnyvale reserves the right for their immediate removal.
• In advance of arrival, guests must disclose their intent to occupy with a pet.
• Upon booking, a Pet Agreement must be signed, and a non-refundable fee will be assessed to cover the costs of deep-cleaning following a pet’s visit.
• Please refer to the Pet Agreement for complete policies relating to housekeeping services, noise complaints, damage to accommodations and more.
• While Emotional Support Animals or Comfort Animals are often used as part of a medical treatment plan as therapy animals, they are not considered service animals under the ADA and remain subject to the pet agreement and non-refundable fee.

Yes. M Social Hotel Sunnyvale is a 100% smoke-free property. Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all guestrooms, suites, guestroom patios, indoor public spaces, meeting and event spaces, restaurants, bars, courtyards, and other areas where food or beverages are served or consumed.

This policy applies to:

• Cigarettes, cigars, cigarillos, pipes, and hookahs
• Electronic cigarettes, vaping devices, and similar products
• Cannabis and marijuana in any smoked or vaporized form

Smoking or vaping is permitted only in the hotel’s designated outdoor smoking area. In accordance with Sunnyvale requirements, smoking is prohibited within 25 feet of any operable doorway, window, opening, or ventilation intake. Guests should follow all posted signs and hotel team-member directions. City of Sunnyvale smoke-free requirements.

A $500 cleaning and restoration fee may be charged when smoking or vaping occurs in a guestroom, suite, or other prohibited hotel area. Additional charges may apply if further remediation or damage repair is required.
